A Life in LIVORA belongs to a country and settlement. You can begin in any of five fictional countries, compare other places without moving, follow a supported immigration route and build a genuine history of living abroad.

Choosing where a Life begins

Both Formative Years and Adult Life begin with a country and settlement choice. Select the country first, then compare its cities, towns and rural places before confirming the Life. The chosen settlement becomes the character's starting residence and original home, and a standard new character begins with that country's citizenship. Formative Years also records the birthplace because that route begins at birth; an Adult start does not invent one.

The five countries have deliberately broad internal variety:

These are not one-note national personalities. Settlements inside the same country can differ sharply in housing pressure, jobs, transport, services, community life and climate. A rural home may be affordable but require more travel; a capital can offer wider work and social choice while placing more pressure on housing and time.

Your opening place becomes part of the Life's history. Moving later changes the current residence, not the fact that the character began somewhere else. See 2. Choose How Your Life Begins and 3. Formative Years.

Countries and settlements change ordinary Life

Country and location are gameplay context, not cosmetic scenery. New housing quotes use the real settlement's housing market. New jobs reflect the workplace's local labour and salary context. Schools, childcare, adult learning, healthcare, family services and civic services use local providers. Transport strength, connectivity and congestion affect practical journeys. Climate, hemisphere, season and regional conditions feed the same weather system used by the rest of the Life.

Accepted contracts are not silently repriced whenever the player opens Geography or moves elsewhere. A current wage, tenancy, mortgage or completed qualification keeps its recorded terms and history. Workplaces, Education providers, Business sites and owned property also keep their own locations rather than being rewritten to match the character's home.

Explore Countries before deciding

Open Geography and use Explore Countries to browse all five countries and their supported settlements. The browser keeps the current home visible while showing country imagery, fictional flags, settlement type and region, housing and work context, transport, healthcare, family services, climate and a compact comparison with the character's current area.

Browsing is read-only. Opening Bellara while living in Alden does not move the household, change citizenship, start a job, alter the weather at home or charge a fee. A button to plan a move is an invitation to begin a separate process, not proof that the move is already possible.
